Co-Founder

Margherita Sgorbissa (she/her) is a Southern European, queer and working-class-born senior consultant in the social justice and impact space. She has a background in Culture, Communication & Gender Studies. Backed by 9 years of experience in organisational operations and development developed in the intersection between the corporate and nonprofit space, she combines her expertise around social entrepreneurship, organisational operations and strategic planning with her lived experience + knowledge around intersectional feminism to help community-led/-oriented social justice nonprofits and social impact organisations access resources and consolidate their operational structures, so that they can accelerate their longterm development goals and those of their communities. She has been consulting global executives and organisations in the areas of community building and engagement, strategic planning, fundraising, community impact strategies and organisational development. Margherita has been working with global CEOs and social justice organisations specifically grounded into community-based missions and community-building objectives, recording a successful proven track of consulting experiences with organisations and leaders operating across geographies, including MENA, UAE, LATAM, Europe, North America (US and Canada), within the space of SHRH, GBV, gender economics, community building and equity in access to professional opportunities and resources.

She has helped leaders develop communities of up to 50K members, from the US to Tunisia, passing through Berlin, Venezuela, Guatemala (Vitala Global Foundation) and South European local ecosystems. She has supported MENA Diaspora’s networks in coming together around gender justice and digital transformation matters (Digital Arabia Network and Women In Business), international parents in Berlin fighting loneliness through the creation of new gathering formats (Mello App), podcasters from all around the world joining forces for fruitful media collaborations (Audry App), breast health advocates share their experiences for new community-based prevention models (Boobsy Community Project), young people aged 13-17 exploring identity and gender topics through combined techniques involving technology and performance arts (Virtual S*Xploration), Global Majority’s early career builders develop their professional path in social impact through the support of community and collective care (The Bloom), Tunisian local NGOs coming together to upskill their digital competences and fundraise for self-sustaining strategies (Maarifa For Transition).
