Commonground Initiatives is partnering up with We Love Kairouan, a Tunisian nonprofit organisation working on local community development projects, in a mutual capacity building program aimed to explore strategies for youth engagement and civil society trust-building in rural areas.

With this program, we want to create a space for mutual learning and creative brainstorming where both organisations can exchange experiences and best practices on how to revitalise community participation, especially amongst youth, and strengthen the role of civil society organisations amidst global political turmoil, backlash against the sector and a general democracy backsliding.
